Colour blocking in fall?

At the beginning of summer the colour
blocking trend became a common sense.
Mixing blue with yellow and green with orange must have been
a lovely challenge for everyone who tends to
go safe on clothing.
Now that the summer has ended the bright
colours seem to fade away.
However, I think that the colour blocking trend
is still present, yet the bright colours have
been replaced by darker and softer colours.
I hope to do a post on such colour blocking soon.
I’m thinking about bordeau, khaki, navy, ochre…
Which colours would you suggest?
