I have not looked it up, so I cannot tell whether this trend was spotted first on the catwalk, or that it came street from the street style. All I know is that e-ver-y-one is rocking bandana’s nowadays. And I am one of them!

I have to admit that I didn’t like this trend a few years ago, since back then it was brought in such a ghetto-ish way, but now that it’s worn in different places, I can totally feel it. Around the neck it’s kinds preppy chique, while around the arms it’s cool in a casual way. But in no way is it urban these days.

Another fun thing of course is that it’s not only the bandana print, but also any other print that can be rocked. As long is it is a square thin shawl. And that is what makes this trend so easy! Also, I think that a look becomes instantly dressy with a touch of a shawl like this. You can easily add any color to a sober look without changing too much.
