Bohemian dresses… Long maxi dresses in a sheer fabric, decorated or fully covered in crochet or romantic lace dessins, or instead with an ethnic print, symmetrical and dreamy…

Did I just describe my dream dress? I think so. Almost like a brides dress the bohemian maxi dresses that are now totally hot, are very romantic and have you feeling like a princess, ready to wander the world and explore uninhabited areas.

Whenever the summer kicks in, I start to dress like a hippie occasionally, especially when going to a festival, or the beach. Nude and earthy colors are my favorites and I always match it with other boho items, like a big round hat, hoola hoop earrings, loads of arm candy, fringes, ring stacks, suede bags and what not.

These kind of hippie dresses mostly have long sleeves and a loose fit that leave to the imagination what’s underneath. Unless of course, it’s a sheer fabric. In that case it’s even more fun to play with details in the different layers. But in the end, dresses like this don’t even need that much of a finishing touch, cause it’s the careless look that does it all. What do you think?
