This month’s love goes out to…

Lace them up. Tight and high! That’s the spirit, don’t you cry. I don’t know why that came out. Somehow I made this a song in my head while writing it down. And I must say it didn’t sound bad! But lace up heels don’t sound bad either, do they?

For the real fashionista’s these shoes have been around for a while now. Last year I’ve already seen a lot of women out the fashion industry (including bloggers) rocking this trend. And it didn’t take a second for me to do it as well. I loooove the lace up heels. Although I think that they can be very feminine, I ‘ve also seen some that are very tough and have me thinking of heavy metal and rock guitars.

This trend was spotted on the catwalk for Spring/Summer 2015 looks with Givenchy, Rodarte, Alexander McQueen, Stella McCartney, Chloe and Herve Leger. And I guess this is only half of the list, cause designers seem to be crazy about this statement piece and I cannot blame them cause shoes like this really complement any look.

The black variant is favorite, but don’t close your eyes for the white ones, or pastel ones. Those are kinda lovely as well if you are going for the floral, marble or any other summery look.
