Shimmering summer
Who says you cannot wear sequins during the summer? Isn’t just fun to wear shimmering pieces like these in the sun with a sun kissed tan?
If you read my blog regularly you know that I am a huge fan of two-pieces or say co-ords. I love crop tops with matching skirts or oversized tops with shorts in the same print. So when I was in Aarhus for Vero Moda, what was I to do when I saw this lovely kimono and matching shorts? Uhuh… I had to try it on and shoot an outfit.
I’m in love with the color of this two-piece. It’s so summerish, and fun, yet it’s not too bright. I found these cute colorful houses next to our hotel where I shot this look, to give it even more of a cotton candy land kinda vibe.
The best part about co-ords like this is that you’re outfit is easily completed. I only had to add a top and heels. However, if you do want to wear the shorts or kimono again, you can style it in a total different way and create a different look, as if the shorts or kimono is new. When I shot this look it was too cold to really wear it, but I can imagine myself wearing this to the beach or a picknick at the parc. What do you say? Yay or nay?
