Monki business

Now that summer is knocking on my door, I tend to wear more and more floral prints and colorful outfits. I also try to look for summerish backgrounds when I’m shooting outfits and pastels seem to be my greatest love. Just check out my instagram account, it screams summer (@larissabruin)! However, I must say that black and white are still very doable these days. In fact, that combinantion never gets old…

I was kinda thrilled when Spice PR invited me over to check out on their SS 15 samples and pick a few to feature on my blog, since they represent the coolest brands, among which Monki, Asos and MKT. If you follow me on snapchat, you may have seen the video of me in their showroom and all items that I chose (snapchat: larissabruin).

This maxi coat is one of the fab things I found and I am actually very happy with it. I already had a long beige trenchcoat, but this one is a perfect alternative for when I want to look a bit cooler, sophisticated and sassy.

It features some black details, which is why I chose to add only back items and make this a black and white ensemble. The sunnies are the finishing touch. Now you must be thinking… Is that a pair of Dior so real sunglasses? And I would love to say “Yes, honey. Why are you so upset?” But instead, I’m gonna tell you about this amazing instagram webshop, called “Moonarshop” (link here) where they sell these sunnies not only in silver, but also in black, gold and what not for only 35euros. A must check out I’d say!!!
