HOW TO WEAR BOMBER JACKETS LOOKBOOK

It’s funny how influences from the 70’s, 80’s and 90’s have been ruling the trends lately. Bomber jackets are as popular now as they were back then and they come in all kinds, but how to wear bomber jackets? In this video I show you three different looks.

And when it comes to bomber jackets, these are my three tips:

1. Balance the volume
Bomber jackets can be quite bulky. I always try to keep the volume in balance, for a feminine and harmonious look. So with a bomber jacket on top, I would always choose skinny and body con at the bottom. Although I must say that flare pants look very cool with bombers as well.

2. More than khaki
Understand that there are more kinds of bombers than the khaki one. If you don’t like the big bulky ones, there’s still enough choice and I bet that one would not always be aware of wearing a bomber, cause some just look like a casual cardigan.

3. Accessorize
Bomber jackets can be quite a statement. In that case you might wanna make up for the statement by adding some other elements. For instance, I sometimes feel like a bomber makes me look too cool or too ghetto, so by adding feminine and chique accessories I dress down the toughness.
