GATHER FOR THE BETTER

If you check my blog regularly, you must have noticed that I like to mix vintage and new every now and then. So when I saw the button up skirt making a come back this season, I could only shout as loud as I can, cause I had one like that laying in my closet for a while. And now, I am finally able to rock it again.

So the skirt was a summer fact: I needed to photograph it and share it with you guys this summer. I have seen some beautiful button up skirts like this in brown suede too, but I think I will keep that in mind for autumn. For now: denim it is.

The perfect match to denim would have to be white if you ask me. And to add up to the 70’s kinda look, I wanted to go for this off shoulder top with tassel detail. The beige accessories are a finishing touch and the pop of color in my lips makes this to a chique ensemble.

I found this skirt in the local vintage store several years ago when I felt like I needed a denim skirt. Back then I didn’t wear it at all, but now it comes in handy. The top is from this cute little webshop called Znu, were I scored several fun summer items. You may have seen the heels before in my “perfect nudes” post and my bag is from one of my new favorite designers from Germany, Janiko. Besides amazing bags and clutches they also sell stunning platform heels. A must watch!

Oh and the sunnies? They are my all time favorites. I have been wanting Ray-Ban sunnies for quite a while, but somehow I never got to buy it.
