ARC DE TRIOMPHE
Yasss, another fashion week look shot against a wonderful backdrop in Paris again. How amazing is this city in which there are so many beautiful places to photograph your outfits? Sometimes I wish I lived there. It’s not even that far from Amsterdam. But instead, I will just go ahead and look back on the pictures I’ve made…
Let’s talk about the look that I am wearing here: a beautiful velvet pleated cami dress on top of a voluminous shouldered blouse. Is it delicious or what? I regret that I haven’t taken a few more detail shots as this dress is really amazing and so is the top.
I must admit that when I first noticed the “cami over a top” trend, I was kinda shocked. I remembered that this used to be hot back in the 90s and I had not expected myself to ever like it again after I started wearing my cami’s as underwear as soon as the millennium kicked in. But here I am, rocking it like never before! And may I admit that at least three of my fashion week looks were part of this trend?
To complete this look I went for my Dr Martens boots, a somewhat unexpected ensemble, but I think that this was the only way for me to keep it “Larissa”. I could’ve also gone with my white slingback heels, but that would have been way too preppy, way out of my comfort zone. The sunnies are the cherry on top and the silver round bag just makes this ensemble complete. Don’t you think?
Super curious what you guys think of this trend. Oh, and have you ever been to the Arc de Triomphe? Funny how I have seen at least 5 other bloggers posting pictures with it during the same period. Haha.
