TOP 5 SWIMWEAR AND BEST BIKINI’S OF 2016

It’s bikini season, so since I have been flaunting so many bikini pictures on instagram, I thought it would be fun to just dedicate a full blog post on bikini’s. In particular the top 5 bikini’s of 2016, cause really never were bikini’s so fashionable than this year…

1. The Off-shoulder

Off-shoulder and bardot tops have been a trend for a while now and this trend can also be found in swimwear. Unfortunately I do not own bikini’s that are off shoulder yet, but I will definitely pursue one soon. I think it’s so chique and it’s also handy cause you will only have to add shorts to it and it’s kinda dressy to walk around the beach and go back home in the evening.

2. Fringes and tassels
Yessss I do have bikini’s with tassels and I really love them. The color is catchy but not too bright and that makes a bikini just a little more fashionable I think and a little less too happy haha. No, I stated that wrong because these tassels and fringes actually do make me happy.

3. Asymmetric and crazy shapes
The more complicated the design of a bikini looks these days, the better. Prints alone aren’t gonna do it for you anymore. When you invest in a nice bikini you may want it to have an interesting neckline, asymmetric rushes or a certain shackle or clasp that makes people wonder how it’s made…

4. Knitted pieces
I have had a knitted, crochet kinda bikini ever since I was 10 or so. I am talking about a bright pink and yellow one which used to be my favorite bikini for years. I’ve always thought of it as special, cause these normal bikinis were all made of nylon and lycra and here I was with my crochet bikini haha. So happy that they made comeback, cause now I have this amazing white bikini I love too much!

5. High waists
Although it’s not practical, since hey – you want to tan in a bikini don’t you?, I love me some high waisted bikini bottoms. They are classically chic and make every belly look good!
