SUMMERPROOF NAILS WITH SALLY HANSEN
If there is one thing that I like about summer it’s the fact that new color trends are introduced. Of course this doesn’t only hold for fashion, but also for beauty. I am very happy to introduce to you these ten new colors by Sally Hansen, amongst which also my favorite!
When I think of summer, I usually think of pastels, so it may not come as a surprise that Malibu Peach (peach, the name says it all) and B Girl (mint) are my favorite colors at this time from Sally Hansen Miracle Gel. However, I am happy to know that colors such as bright pink and red never seem to go out of style. More unexpected to me for summer, but oh so welcome are the metallics. The silver shimmering nail polish could be a lovely addition on the ring & index finger if you like playing with colors.
But what’s a nice color without a top coat? In these pictures I’ve used the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel top coat. It’s easy to use: Apply two thin layers of color. Let it dry completely. Then add the top coat. Let it dry again. Et voilà! You’ll have a gel manicure without using a lamp. Also good to know is the fact that it’s easily removed. Of course you could also try to make nail art with these colors. Unfortunately, I am not very good at it, but these colors totally motivate me to experience with it.
Major tip! I’ve learned that my nail polish lasts even longer when my hands and nails are kept healthy. For example, one could use Sally Hansen Vitamin E Oil or Cuticle rehab (see photo) on a daily basis. I am a total fan of all of these Sally Hansen goodies.
Have you tried the Sally Hansen Miracle Gel already? And what would be your favorite color this summer?
