WHAT TO WEAR: WEDDING (LOOKBOOK VIDEO)
It’s May! So hello wedding season. I am really getting around the age at which everyone is getting married and although I do not see myself in a marriage the coming 3 to 5 years, I am very happy to be a wedding guest until then. But question rising: what to wear? In this lookbook I show you three different looks.
As with every lookbood I will also give you three tips here and I think that that’s much needed, cause there seem to be some rules when it comes to wedding guest apparel.
1. No white
This is not a tip, but really a golden rule unless stated otherwise on the invite: don’t wear white. This is inappropriate since today it may only be the bride who is wearing white. Beige and other offwhite tints are neither recommended. Instead, go with a colorful dress. Bright, pastel and prints: you go!
2. No wrinkels
My video may not be on fleck when it comes to this point, but for a wedding one should really think of the details. Decent clothes are everything! When it comes to cleavage the rules may have changed over time and let’s be honest. Another person’s wedding could be the beginning of you meeting someone new, so being appropriately sexy is allowed.
3. No denim
To a wedding I would never suggest to wear denim, so no jeans whether you are a man or a woman. I would either suggest a dress, a skirt or a decent pair of pants.
Et voilà, you are ready to go!
Let me know what you think of the looks I created!
