In his closet

Just like every other month, we are again taking a peek in one of my friend’s closets. This time
it’s a boy’s closet, but still o so interesting! John is my colleague turned

What does fashion mean to you?
For me, fashion is a way you can express yourself without words. A way to give people an idea of your personality. A
flash into the world of YOU. I love being able to look at someone, take in what their wearing, and automatically
get an idea of the kind of person they are. But if I take a look at the other end of the spectrum, fashion isn’t
just about picking pretty garments that show off my personality, but it’s also about linking me to
where the clothes themselves have come from. They entirely make me feel like I’m part of the bigger picture. I basically
choose clothes based on where they have come from, or better yet, who has made them.
How would you describe your own style?
Defining my own style is quite difficult, since my style preferences constantly changed over the past few years.
But if I’d have to, I would accurately describe my own personal style as unique and classy yet streetwear-ish.
Furthermore, I have the tendency to over-accessorize my whole outfit by adding loads of rings and
a humongous choker as a statement piece to my outfit.
What’s your favourite piece in your closet?
I do like everything I purchase, but I currently like my neon messenger bag from Cambridge Satchel Company best. And
also one of my recent purchases, which are the leather trousers from H&M.
