Spring plunge

Isn’t crazy how it seemed to be Christmas yesterday, while today we are almost at the end of March, welcoming spring into our lives and wardrobe?! I am always ready to make this jump, cause except for the festivities I don’t really like the winter. So here’s quite a spring summer look…

When I ordered these items at Missguided, I had not planned to wear it together and when I wore it together I was kind of in doubt whether or not to shoot it like this, cause it’s a lot of bare skin altogether with the plunge, crop and thigh high asymmetric line of the skirt. I mean, it’s spring, not summer!

But I just loved the black and white teamed to the army green, so I wanted to risk looking like a beach girl. The golden details of this body chain, the necklace and ring are the perfect finishing touch to this exotic ensemble.

I must admit that it was quite a hurdle to shoot these pics. We are used to shooting outfit pictures outside. There’s so much more to think about when you want to shoot a look indoors. The lighting is one of the biggest issues and finding the right photogenic space is also very hard. Some would think that blogging is simple. You can’t imagine how many people told me that I am such a lucky girl, cause I am “getting free stuff and getting paid simply for making some pictures”. Well, first of all: “simply” and “pictures” aren’t really meant to be used in one sentence!

However, some wood, a white wall and a green plant were enough to finally have me satisfied with the pictures. Photoshop was needed to adjust these pics from orang-y to normal, but here they are!
